CHESS ASSOCIATION OF NOVI SAD<\/em> in cooperation with Vojvodina Chess Federation<\/em> organized Municipal chess tournament of elementary schools in individual and team category at Primary School \"\u0110ura Jak\u0161i\u0107\", Ka\u0107<\/strong> at Saturday 12th of March, 2022.<\/strong>More than 100 students from 18 schools of Municipal Novi Sad participated on tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Individual championship <\/strong>was held for each class in two category: for female and for male students at 7 rounds (15 minutes for player)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team championship<\/strong> was held same day after individual part. According to the professional instructions, the team competition is played on 6 boards; at least 2 female students and at least 2 male students. Male students shall play on the first 2 boards, on the last 2 boards shall play female students, and on the third and fourth the choice is free. A team can also have three reserves; two reserves for the first four boards and one reserve for the last two boards. A team can start a match if a minimum of 3 team members are present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
