Finished 9th Sports Olympics of the school youth of Vojvodina - Novi Sad's players the best!

The 9th School Youth Sports Olympiad of Vojvodina (SOŠOV) is an event that has been held since 1970! As part of the event, this year, young people from Vojvodina had the opportunity to socialize and make friends from 19th to 22nd of May in Zrenjanin. Within one of the most popular school sports manifestation, competitions are held in: athletics, swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, football, handball, table tennis, archery, judo, karate, rhythmic gymnastics, basketball and chess. In each of the disciplines, each Vojvodina district had one representative, while the home district was allowed to have two representatives.

Final order, results, tables

The first place in the chess category, with all seven victories, went to the JUŽNOBAČKI DISTRICT. Chess teams are composed so that the most successful chess players of the district play the appropriate grade: on the first board a male representative from the first or second grade, on the second board a representative of the third or fourth, on the third - fifth or sixth, on the fourth - seventh or eighth, on the fifth female a representative from the first or second grade, etc.

The team of the winning district consisted of eight promising ones Novi Sad's chess players Miloš Pasula, Luka Gilica, Aleksa Veličković, Nikola Leskovac, Katarina Vugdalić, Varvara Emmanuilova, Teodora Jauković i Kalina Oro.

The most successful participants of SOŠOV were awarded by the President of the Organizing Committee of SOŠOV and the Provincial Secretary for Sports and Youth Dane Basta, Vice President of the Organizing Committee of SOSHOV and Mayor of Zrenjanin Simo Salapura, President of the School Sports Association of Serbia Željko Tanasković, who is also President of the European School Sports Association , celebrated Olympian Momir Rnić, as well as numerous successful athletes and sports workers
