CHESS ASSOCIATION OF NOVI SAD in cooperation with Vojvodina Chess Federation organized Municipal chess tournament of elementary schools in individual and team category at Primary School "Đura Jakšić", Kać at Saturday 12th of March, 2022.More than 100 students from 18 schools of Municipal Novi Sad participated on tournament.
Individual championship was held for each class in two category: for female and for male students at 7 rounds (15 minutes for player)

Team championship was held same day after individual part. According to the professional instructions, the team competition is played on 6 boards; at least 2 female students and at least 2 male students. Male students shall play on the first 2 boards, on the last 2 boards shall play female students, and on the third and fourth the choice is free. A team can also have three reserves; two reserves for the first four boards and one reserve for the last two boards. A team can start a match if a minimum of 3 team members are present.
