SEMIFINAL TOURNAMENT OF NOVI SAD IN BLITZ COMPLETED 2022.

Novi Sad Chess Federation in cooperation with the Novi Sad Chess Club, wass organizing the semifinal blitz tournament of Novi Sad on 16th of March.

Rights to play had all players who are registrated for clubs from Novi Sad or if they are related to Novi Sad (living in Novi Sad, university...)

Tournament was played according to the Swiss pairing with FIDE rules for blitz chess. Time control: 3 minutes, plus 2 seconds per move.

The first place took IM Dejan Leskur with 9.5 points from 11 rounds. The second place was FM Dejan Omorjan with 9 points from 11 rounds and the third place belonged to FM Ivan Titov, who won 8 points from 11 rounds.

Final order, results, tables

16 players are playing the final championship of Novi Sad in blitz, which is called II MEMORIAL OF MILAN ILIJĆ BRADONJA. Direct right to participate are having: all Novi Sad grandmasters, grandmasters registered for clubs from the territory of Novi Sad or if they have any other relations to Novi Sad (residence, faculty...). Also, Dragojlović Andjelko and Milan Popović have the direct right to participate, based on the placements from the previous Novi Sad Championship. Other places will be filled based on the placement at Novi Sad Semifinal Blitz Championship.
