Novi Sad Chess Federation in cooperation with the Novi Sad Chess Club organized the final blitz tournament of Novi Sad from 17th of March to 18th of March with name II MEMORIAL OF MILAN ILIJĆ BRADONJA. The tournament was held at location of NŠK, street Nikole Pašića 26 / I.
Direct right to participate had: all Novi Sad grandmasters, grandmasters registered for clubs from the territory of Novi Sad or if they have any other relations to Novi Sad (residence, faculty...). Also, Dragojlović Andjelko and Milan Popović had the direct right to participate, based on the placements from the previous Novi Sad Championship. All other places was filled based on placement on Semifinal tournament of Novi Sad in blitz.
The tournament was be played according to the round-robin pairing system, according to the Fide rules for blitz chess. The tournament was rated, and time control was 3 minutes, plus a bonus of 2 seconds for each move.
The first place belonged to GM Siniša Dražić with 28 points from 30 rounds. The second place won GM Aleksandar Kovačević with 25.5/30, while third place took IM Milan Popović with 24/30.
