Vojvodina chess federation in cooperation with Novi Sad chess federation organized the District competition of elementary school students in chess in individual and team competition for the South of Bačka District in Elementary school “Jan Čajak“ in Bački Petrovac (street Sladkovičova), у недељу 27. марта 2022. године.
On district tournament in individual competition were more than 160 students, meanwhile in team competition were 12 teams.
Individual championship was held for each class in two category: for female and for male students.
Team championship was held same day after individual part. According to the professional instructions, the team competition is played on 6 boards; at least 2 female students and at least 2 male students. Male students shall play on the first 2 boards, on the last 2 boards shall play female students, and on the third and fourth the choice is free.
