Friendly match between chess schools

On Sunday, 2nd of April, in the premises of the Novi Sad Chess Club, a friendly match was played between the schools of the two Novi Sad chess clubs, SC "Bubamara" and SC "Promocija".

The gathering was intended for the youngest students of these two chess schools.

Chess school SC "Bubamara"

The main idea of ​​SC Bubamara is primarily aimed at the affirmation of playing chess for children from 5 to 18 years of age through the work of the chess school and the participation of members in chess tournaments. The Chess School has over 40 members and its work is organized through work in groups depending on the age and previous chess knowledge of the child, such as the younger, middle and older group. Almir Gagić (national chess arbiter) and Nenad Dimitrijević - FIDE master, work with children at the chess school. The members of the club have noticed results in school chess competitions, as well as in official tournaments organized by SSS and SSV with different ages of children.

Chess school SC "Promocija"

Chess club "Promotion" has a long tradition of working with children, as well as participating in tournaments of city, provincial and state rank. The club was founded in 1996 and after a short break it continued to work! The age of the students of the chess school is from 5 to 18 years. The program of classes is diverse and creative, and the acquisition of chess knowledge follows all levels, from learning basic things, such as the names of figures and their movements to advanced ones like tactics and strategy, preparation of openings, understanding middle of game and improving the endings.
