CHESS ASSOCIATION OF NOVI SAD organizes every month the individual open championship of Novi Sad in rapid chess for the current month. Time control is 10 minutes per player + 5 seconds per played move, seven rounds according to the Swiss system. The tournaments are rated by FIDE and are played according to FIDE rules. The championship for the month of September took place on Friday, 8.9.2023. in the premises of NŠK at Nikola Pašića street number 26 in Novi Sad.
All interested players had the right to perform. The first place was won by FM Ratko Bulajić with 6/7, the second place went to Sergej Suhotskov with 5.5/7, and the third place to Milan Mitić with 3.5/7.
