As part of the October tournaments, two important tournaments were held, intended for players of different levels and ambitions:
October Berger tournament for FM norms
This tournament was organized for players who aim to acquire the FIDE master (FM) standard. It was played according to the Berger system, and the tempo of the game was 60 minutes per player with an allowance of 30 seconds per move. The tournament took place from October 24 to 28.
October tournament for IM standards
This tournament was intended for players who want to achieve the International Master (IM) standard. It was played at a classic pace of 90 minutes per player with an allowance of 30 seconds per move and is played in 9 rounds. The tournament was held from October 24 to 29.
