The Vojvodina Chess Federation, under the auspices of the Provincial Secretariat for Sports and Youth, is organizing the 4th international chess festival called "VOJVODINA OPEN 2026" from June 25 to July 2, 2026.
The tournament will be held in the Ceremonial Hall on the 1st floor of the Serbian Orthodox Church of Vojvodina (“SPENS”) in Novi Sad (2 Sutjeska Street)
All male and female chess players, regardless of title and rating, are eligible to participate in the tournament. The tournament is played in two groups: “A” group for players with a minimum standard rating of 2000 and “B” group for players with a maximum standard rating of 2100.
In both groups, the tournament is played according to the Swiss system in 9 rounds.
In the “A” group, the game tempo is 90 minutes per player for 40 moves and 15 minutes until the end of the game, with an increment of 30 seconds for each move played, starting from the first, while in the “B” group the game tempo is 90 minutes per player for the entire game, with an increment of 30 seconds for each move played, starting from the first.
